What does this mean?

If the purchased item does not meet your expectation for what ever reason, full purchase price shall be refunded (including postage, if paid!)) within 14 days from taking possession.

How can I exercise my return decision rights?

In order to validate your purchase, you MUST provide:

  • Name of purchaser and valid e-mail address.
  • Order Number
  • Catalogue Number of item(s), ONLY those you wish to return.
  • Bank Account Number, where refund is to be deposited.

Verification of your intention shall be sent via e-mail to start return process. Return items insecure and undamaged condition in the time noted to our postal address. The cost of return is the purchasers responsibility.

When will I receive my refund?

Contingent upon receipt of items in complete and undamaged order, it takes 1-3 working days to receive a deposit refund.

45 day Exchange Guarantee

What does this mean?

Any item(s) purchased OR received as gift from us, incorrect size OR for any other reason items can be exchanged for a period of 45 days from the time it reaches us.

What are the Conditions for Exchange?

  • If an exchange is requested within 45 days.
  • If the jewellery was not worn (except trying it!)
  • If sale-slip is provided.
  • If commitment is made to purchase a new item from our webstore. (Except when exchanged within 14 days!)

How can I exercise my exchange rights?

Following your request for exchange we shall verify the exchange process. Return items insecure and undamaged condition in the time noted to our postal address. The cost of return as well as the resending of new item(s) is the purchasers responsibility.

When should I expect my new jewellery?

Upon receipt of undamaged and complete jewellery, the newly selected item shall be sent. Expected time: 1-3 days.

How is a price difference handled?

In case of price difference, money owed must be paid in full as per agreement. If the difference is owing, it will be deposited to your prescribed account within 14 days of receiving the exchanged item. Beyond that time the full price will be charged.

What happens if I cannot find a suitable item?

In the event a suitable item is not available, unfortunately refund is not possible. In this case a Carissimae Gift Card is issued, redeemable within 1 year.

What is the warranty on jewellery?

Jewellery distributed by our company has 2 years conditional warranty.

What constitutes the Warranty?

Notwithstanding, jewellery material or manufacturing defect (excluding normal wear!) our company guarantees its repair or replacement. If not possible, a full price refund will be made.

When is Warranty void?

  • Wear and tear due to normal use.
  • Colour changes due to chemicals (certain cosmetics, spa-water, etc.)
  • Metal changes due to health conditions (allergies to metals)
  • Reactions due to health.
  • Incorrect storage, use causing health issues
  • Issues created by not following usage directives.

Where do I turn when a jewellery becomes faulty?

In any case or event you need to provide:

  • Name, address and phone number
  • Receipt number
  • Name of faulty item and catalogue number
  • Description of fault
  • Type of request you need. (primarily repair or replacement).

NOTE: Also, it is advisable to send an e-mail of a photo (cell photo acceptable) showing the damaged-fault part This will expedite resolution.

Within 3 days our staff will contact you by phone to establish details, followed by an e-mail about the warranty progress.
